Fascism, you see, would never place anyone in the contradictory position of non-violence, especially not someone in law enforcement: the use of violence as a consequence of necessity isn’t just allowed, it is heartily recommended. Our organizational model (and therefore our political one) is that of natural order, and in nature violence is boundless, without any moral judgment. The wolf guts the lamb, but do we put the wolf on trial? The alpha lioness kills the cubs of her predecessor, but will we ever condemn her for that blood? Elephants charge and trample whoever invades their turf, but no one considers them criminals for this violence. Instinct is what guides violence, necessity—these are the primordial forces of our nature as the dominant species.

Domination is violence in itself—and this may shock the pure souls of democracy—but the alternative is to be dominated, because in a violent world you can’t choose violence: it already exists. The only thing you can choose is to enact it or receive it. We fascists solved this quandary a long time ago. If the weak spot of democracy is the damning conviction that violence is the last resort of the incompetent, we believe the exact opposite: non-violence is the refuge of those incompetent enough not to see that violence can be necessary. If you have an enemy, you have to be ready to do anything to take them down. If you have a head, you have to be ready to do anything to follow him. If you hold something or someone dear, you have to be ready to defend them by any means necessary. There are no compromises when you love your country, your countrymen, your family, your culture, your faith, as if they were the only ones in this world—a world, as many tend to forget, that only respects what it fears.
